Applicants of the PVF scholarship must meet all of the following criteria:

Self-identify as Black or African American, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian or Alaska Native

Have a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

Be a current senior (graduating high school in 2023) planning to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited four-year HBCU, PWI, or community college in the U.S. for the entire upcoming academic year

Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:

Accounting
-
Business Administration
-
Computer Science
-
Cybersecurity
-
Economics
-
Engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechanical)
-
Finance
-
Liberal Arts (i.e. but not limited to Psychology, History, Philosophy, Arts & Humanities, etc.)

Management
-
Marketing
-
Math
-
Supply Chain
-
-
Be eligible to work in the US and not require sponsorship now or in the future
Required Materials
As part of your application, you must upload the following:

A current, complete transcript of grades. Grade reports are not accepted. Transcripts must display student name, school name, grades and credit hours for each course and term in which each course was taken.

Copy of acceptance letter from the college or university you will be attending.

A resume.

500 word essay.

Selection of Recipients
PVF will select finalists on the basis of:
-
academic record
-
demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities
-
work experience
-
a statement of educational and career goals and objectives
Awards
-
A monetary award upon successful completion of high school program.

Up to ten (10) awards will be granted.

Awards are for undergraduate study only.
